As a Mac user I don’t have personal preferences or opinions, but I support Windows users everyday and people always ask me this question – should I upgrade to Windows 11? What are the advantages of Windows 11 versus Windows 10. Most people become accustomed to their environment and become change-resistant ( that’s a whole other post right there! ha ha) so there has to be a pretty darn good reason to get people to switch.
Here are some potential advantages of Windows 11 over Windows 10:
New user interface: Windows 11 has a fresh and modern user interface, including a new start menu, taskbar, and windows snapping feature. These changes may enhance the user experience and increase productivity.
Improved performance: Windows 11 reportedly has faster boot times, better performance on modern hardware, and improved multitasking capabilities compared to Windows 10.
Enhanced security features: Windows 11 comes with improved security features, such as hardware-based isolation, virtualization-based security, and secure boot. These features may help protect users from malware and other security threats.
Better integration with Microsoft services: Windows 11 is designed to integrate more seamlessly with Microsoft services, such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Office 365. This integration may provide a more cohesive user experience for those who use these services.
